Placement
In a hallway you are always close, so Medium (30x40cm) works at arm's length in a way it cannot in a living room. Hang with the centre at 145 to 150cm. On a longer run of wall, two verticals with 8 to 10cm between frames read as one thought.

What size wall art suits an entryway or hallway?
Medium (30x40cm) in most cases. Hallways put you at arm's length from the wall, and at that distance a Medium reads fully without crowding the space. For a wide entry wall or a stair landing, Large (45x60cm) works. Hang with the centre at 145 to 150cm from the floor.
Why vertical works for narrow walls?
A hallway wall is taller than it is wide once doors and openings take their share. A vertical photograph follows that shape instead of fighting it. Every work on this page is a vertical composition chosen for exactly these walls. Two verticals hung 8 to 10cm apart read as a single thought on a longer run.

Yes. Every image was photographed in Paris by Studio Halcyon, on location, as part of The Parisian, the first chapter of Letters from Elsewhere. Each work's page names the spot where it was made.
Which of these is a limited edition?
After the Ashes, photographed inside Notre-Dame after its reopening, is an edition of fifty. Numbered, certified, printed on Hahnemühle Museum Etching 350gsm or Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm. The other three works are made to order with no cap.
