Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We've answered the most common ones below. If you don't find what you're looking for, reach out to us at hello@theprintloft.art
What paper and printing method do you use?
Every piece is produced using 12-colour giclée printing on Hahnemühle fine art paper. Works produced on demand use Hahnemühle Fine Art Matte 210gsm, a smooth, heavy-weight sheet with a natural matte finish. Limited editions use Hahnemühle Museum Etching 350gsm or Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm, both museum-grade cotton rag. The inks are fade resistant, so colours hold true for 100+ years under recommended display conditions.
What frame options are available?
We offer four frame colours: Gallery White, Ebony Black, Walnut Brown, and Warm Oak. Each frame comes with a precision-cut mount. You can also order unframed. Optional protective glass glazing is available to shield your work.
What is the difference between on-demand and limited editions?
Works produced on demand have no cap on quantity. They are produced on Hahnemühle Fine Art Matte 210gsm. Limited editions are capped at 50 worldwide, produced on Hahnemühle Museum Etching 350gsm or Photo Rag Baryta 315gsm, and include a numbered certificate of authenticity with Hahnemühle holographic verification. Once a limited edition sells out, it does not reopen.
How long does delivery take?
Every piece is made to order. It takes us 3 to 5 days to produce and dispatch. After dispatch, delivery takes roughly a week within India and 1 to 2 weeks for Europe and the rest of the world.
What sizes are available?
All works come in four sizes: Small (A4), Medium (30×40cm), Large (45×60cm), and X-Large (60×90cm). All measurements include the white border.
What is your return and replacement policy?
Every piece is made to order, so we do not accept returns. If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will exchange it within 7 days at no extra cost. Shipping is on us.
Where do you ship?
We ship to India and internationally. Free shipping within India. Free international shipping on orders above €99.
How many works are in a limited edition?
Each limited edition is capped at 50 worldwide across all sizes and frame options.
What happens when a limited edition sells out?
The edition closes permanently. We do not reissue, re-release, or extend the run.
How should I care for my work?
Keep your work out of prolonged direct sunlight. Avoid high-humidity environments. If framed behind glass, clean the glass with a soft cloth. Do not touch the surface directly. For unframed pieces, handle by the edges or wear cotton gloves.
